Sednterp will calculate the buoyant molecular weight of the sample according to the method chosen for calculating the molecular weight. The buoyant molecular weight is defined in equation 6:

If the molecular weight is computed from σ, then the buoyant molecular weight is computed from σ also.
If the molecular weight is entered directly, or if it is calculated from composition, the buoyant molecular weight is computed from its definition in equation 6 using the values for vbar and ρ from the current buffer.
